Question BMC filters fouling MAF sensor?

Has anybody had a BMC air filter in their TT for more than a few thousand miles? Did it cause any problems wrt to the MAF sensor? I had heard that oiled filters like BMC and K&N can do that. Or, is that just rumor?

Thanks,

Over saturation of the filter oil is the main cause for the MAF failure due to the filters. As long as the filter has just enough oil to trap particulates should be sufficient.

I've had mine on for about 5K miles and have had no problems.

Thanks, Oak. That's what I was thinking. You also have the FVD ECU in your car don't you? I just put one in mine and I'm very happy so far.
