Congrats! I think you will really enjoy this car.
Remember to have everything checked out before your 4/50K factory warranty runs out. I don't think the CPO covers as much as the original warranty.

Like Geoff said Dayaaaaaaaam Jaime! That is one beautiful classy looking car. I bet that sold sign hanging from the mirror is keeping you up looking for mods tonite. Only flaw I could see was the slight ding in the right front fender and the funky front spoiler. Couldnt really see what you were talking about on the light lense but then again i didnt have my glasses on. Look almost as new! That light grey interior is real nice to. You need to lose that whimpy rear spoiler and put a proper TURBO tail on The dealer was closed so couldnt take it out on a proper test drive for you

Thank you all!! To say that I am extremely excited would be an understatement. I will soon have the car to match the poster and model cars that have been decorating my home office for so many years.
I always thought I would end up buying another 993 to fill the loss of the one I use to have... but this 996TT would do just fine
Thank you for the suggestion Pauly90266, warranty runs out in November so I will do a check before that happens.
Jim, I will let you know as soon as it is in my garage so we can take it for a proper drive. Got to warn you that the car is extremely quiet. Nothing like the 964 with the mods we have…

Jaime,
I think you need to have it checked out prior to hitting 50,000 miles, otherwise only the CPO warranty is left. Which I know will not cover as many components as the original factory warranty.
I think that means you only have about 100 miles left! I hope you don't live too far from your dealer.
Good luck.
Paul

Just having the TSBs to be able to listen carefully to common problems Porsche has documented is a great start. I will search some more for additional issues that are common and that I should check as well.
I need to read the fine print in the CPO warranty document to be aware of what is covered and what is not.
Thank you again for your comments.

There are products that will take the pits out of the front headlights. Or you can use a fine rubbing compound or you can use toothpaste, all will work. Most light aircraft supply will have the product as the windscreens on aircraft are plastic

Excellent. Thank you! I will try a small area to validate if they come out or can be reduced somewhat.
On another note: Work has me still in the office and I could not get out to pick up the car... plan to be driving it home tomorrow after 9-12am
