Lidatek users: CA illegality and mounting location?'s
In reading the jammer thread and the lidatek manual I hope you guys would help me with these ?'s:
Where do you mount the unit on a GT2? In the front grill?
Do I need 2 units since I don't have a front plate?
Since they're illegal in CA, anyone had any cop problems or do they not see it?
Malibu is getting laser for PCH.
My thanks to you in advance for your help; it is greatly appreciated. watt

Also, you should ask Oak how he mounted his. I believe he has installed dual transponders on his 996TT and is very happy with it. I am sure GT2 installation would be a bit trickier since the air intakes are recessed rather than flush on the TT.
You should however, get the dual transponder setup for maximum frontal area coverage.
I would have installed the LE20 on my car except that I am planning to get rid of it anyway... only 2-3 more months of mellow driving in the interim. <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" /> Right...
