Post Bailey Diverter Valve Installation Help Needed

OK, I pretty much completed the installation of the Bailey DV Valves except for one thing. When you look into the engine compartment from the rear of the car, there are two hoses that run left to right over the tops of the DV valves. The smaller of the two simply quick connects to the receptacle at the left (It has a grey button on top to release). The larger turns 90 degrees and plugs into a white receptacle at the end of a rigid pipe that is suspended under the rear package tray (left side of the car....see first picture below). I removed a crescent shaped grey plastic retaining clip during installation (see second picture below) and cannot for the life of me figure out how it reconnects. You would think it works like a circlip, but it doesn't seem to have a groove or work that way.
Can anybody shed some light on this???

I think it goes in front of the White valve as a spacer only - I will check my car tonight and let you know. That install is a bi.. Those factory hose clamps suck!! I replaced all of mine with the regulat type that Bailey supplied.

Msindi,
Thanks, but I already figured it out. Apparently there was another black sleeve piece that unknowingly fell down to the floor when I removed the hose at the start. I found it and have it installed now.

Hi guys,

Just installed the Baileys tonight. Had some problems that tiny thing on the top of the valve that connects to the vacuum hose is jamming against the hood rubber. I replaced that tip to a metal 90 degree bent type as used in the evoms type (not sure). Is this ok ? or should I go back and use that standard plastic tiny thing ?

After installing the baileys, I noticed that its making that "phew" sound now ? is that normal with the Baileys or its because that tip that I changed or something is not connected properly ?
Did not seem to have power lost tho.

Installed BMC airfilter as well and had 6 dyno runs. Baseline was 302HP after Baileys and BMC was 320 Peak. There was some low down HP loss, I would assume averaged out to be 5 additional HP

The wooshing sound when shifting is normal as I understand (then again, I am no expert).
DVs are not supposed to give any HP but instead are a supporting mod and necessary if you remap your ECU and run higher boost as the stock plastic membranes WILL eventually fail.
I also have a question, in theory, will DVs void warranty??

With the standard ones I heard no noises previously. With baileys the noises are normal I assume ? I am just abit worried regarding that tip that was replaced with a 90 degree bent ones are leaking or such

Waiting for more answers!
Thanks Mansour for your reply!

PS: I am considering your wheels
