Unichip vs. Upsolute
Guys, I am new to this. What is the difference between Unichip and Upsolute for tuning? Is one type preferred?
I am in the Wash. D.C. area. Who are the most reputable tuners who could accomodate whatever approach is better?

Hello,
I am Sonny Lowe the UPsolute distributor for your area (I am located in WIlliamsburg, VA). I am not familiar with the Unichip, but I can tell you about the UPsolute chip. Here is a Dyno plot form a current 996 we did for a customer in NoVA (Northern VA). This is a thread from the UPsolute forum:

The HP gains were very nicely distributed through the power curve, and the increase was substantial. The customer is very pleased with the upgrade. We pride ourselves in quality workmanship, and customer service. We are fairly new to the Porsche tuning here in the US, but have had great success in Europe.
