You can't buy Ruf's over here either, can you?

As to why Porsche didn't make the effort to sell them in the U.S., why should they? They sold them all without having to deal with the U.S. market hassle.

Call a few exotic car dealers in Beverly Hills. You'll probably locate one or two 959s. When I was last looking, I found two registered in California that passed smog. The dealer can provide you with more info.

Joe, I'd start a new thread to this if I were you. In today's LA TIMES classified i saw a SILVER 02 with 7k miles asking price was 104K. I bet you can do 5k better.
