Best way to remove tape residue

Three Wheelin'
Vipoerbob, The old Dupont Prep Sol was a great cleaning solvent. I beleive the Prepsol on the webpage maybe the new LOW VOC stuff.
I haven't been able to find anything that works as well. Acme paint product has a paint prep solvent that is very similar to Prep Sol, but's not quite as good, IMHO.

I agree with several people that 3M Adhesive Remover is the best and safest product for car paint. http://www.carcareonline.com/detail.asp?product_id=10164

I use oil flow safety solvent if there's a lot of racer's tape goo on the paint. Safe for clear coat and it's good for tons of other stuff too--very good at spot cleaning wheels if there's a small spot of brake dust left after trying soap and water or P21 S wheel cleaner; gets grease out of carpet; you can use it to clean up oil spills--hey, I'm sloppy when changing oil, as there always seems to be a few drops of oil on the floor.
It's water soluable and you can buy it from www.carcareonline.com
