I recently picked up a 2002 996 TT and had a question or two. $100K and no CD changer? Where is a good place to get one and how hard is it to install? Approximate cost? The dealer quoted me $1200, after the laughing stopped, I decided to get one myself. Does anyone make an MP3 changer that will work with the factory in dash (Traffic Pro) head unit? Any other tips for a Porsche newbie would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

You can put in a Becker 2660 changer or Porsche CDC-3. Same changer except the CDC-3 has the Porsche logo on in. The 2660 has been discontinued but there are plenty of them and the CDC-3 on ebay for less than $360.
There is a aux input connector you can get from Becker for an MP3. But you cannot have this and the changer at the same time. Jeff
