Post Titanium connecting rods

Has anyone onstalled any form of titanium connecting rods on their cars? If so, what are the possible brands/places I can get them from?? Which ones are the best??

I have a set of factory originals
check my site for the parts I can sell them togehter with the crank or separate them.

Why do you need titanium connecting rods? The stock ones are forged and I have not heard of anyone having any problems with them even over 600 HP. Maybe cjv can chime in here... I think he is the only one I have heard doing changes to the internals of the motor, but then again, the man has much loftier goals than most of us!

I think titanium rods are a great deal, as long as you have the up front whip out to replace the motor when one of them lets go.

Most mfg's use a titanium alloy. They've found that titanium is soooo hard that it wears on other metal parts. I realize that there is a film of oil between, the titanium doesn't.
