I'm able to remove the side marker housing from the car. Removing the clip holding the connector was painless. I just can't figure how to disengage the connector that plugs into the back of the bulb. Any tips or am I missing something?

There is a wire clip that holds the plug in place. Push the wire clip in and while it is pushed in, wiggle the plug out.
