Post info on the giac switchable chip?

i thought it was to be released by the end of january. anyone know the scoop? it seems that are 4 programs that you switch by using a key fob remote. i believe there is a 2 chip stack and another 2 chip stack, so effectively you have 4 chips in your ecu.
i believe apr's has 4 programs on 1 chip, which may or may not be better.

paul, they have been working on the switch chip for a few years. I remember back in 2000 when they said it would be available soon. Hopefully soon.

I will have an official release date next week gang.
Sorry for the delay. The unit does do four different programs. If you recall I am actually running the unit in my car. The major difference between what we have and what APR has is ours is wireless and ARPs is on the cruise stalk. Our programming supports and tunes X50, EURO and GTII ECUs. As does all of our standard programming. We also have the ability to tune standard TTs to 600HP and are working on more. Mine has dynoed 600HP and 700TQ. If you would like to see an actual dyno sheet drop me an email. We also recently just tuned and dynoed a GTII.
Last I checked I don't think APR was doing much more than a few octane choices along with stage I settings. There was nothing available through them for K24 programming. They may have something now. Not sure.

Take a look in my center conosle in the ashtray delete. That is my goody compartment. If I am feeling shagadelic buaby I simply hit a button. Groovy eh?

when you say "standard turbos" do you mean chip, exhaust, air filter, and k24 turbos? tuned to 600 h.p.?
it definitely works w/'03's?
i wish it had a security lock out feature.
so out w/it already!

APR will have programs for the K24 turbos soon, along with the EMCS it will have a security lock out.

Paul, you keep your change in the change holder in the center console under the arm rest. If you look in there you will see a plastic piece that looks somewhat like a comb, just stack your coins on the rack.

Paul,
I mean standard turbos without the X50 option or GTII. You will need turbos, exhaust and a handful of goodies to get you to 600. The X50 and GTIIs take less effort to get there. Otherwise I mean standard like my 01TT. We also have programming for the 03s as well. The switchable unit will have the lock out control as well. The emobilizer in the unit is quiet good, then again so is your factory setup.
