How do I find warranty history before all the money changes hands for a 2001?

You can do a carfax. A dealer can tell you what warranty claims were processed against that VIN. Porsche customer service can tell you what dealer sold the car and what options it left from the factory with.

It's a one owner city car. (It's getting the fluff and puff before delivery) The dealer promises the service history but I am curious to know the warranty work before I get in too deep.

I am especially concerned as to its oil consumption.

Is there any site that will give the warranty info?
