Post Best Aftermarket Pedals for a 996 TT?

There are a number of suppliers of aftermarket pedlas for a TT (I have a 02 YY). Anyone have any opinions on them?

So far my only opinion is I like the company that has pedals that say "Turbo" on them.

I like Ruf pedals. Aluminum with black rubber inserts makes a very nice looking combination.
Makes heel and toe operation a little bit easier
as well.

Ibanez,
I have the pedals I believe you are referring to with the Turbo script; they are Cargraphic pedals.
I have had them for 3 months and am very happy with them, ordered them directly from CargraphicUSA for $349, which included the dead pedal. They are very similar to stock in terms of size and shape and the grip is very good.
Have not had any problems with catching the edge of the floor mats or wearing the carpet.

Hope you enjoy whichever you chose.

Ditto. In my personal opinion, these look the best and work just great.

Those are the ones I like the best of the ones I have seen so far. How easy were they to install? Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?

I found the RUF pedals at the official RUF supplier's website. Here it is for anyone that wants it.

The cargraphics website is pretty useless. Thanks for the picture you posted of their pedals.

Oh yeah, one more question. Who has the best prices on the Cargraphics pedals?

Ibanez,
Regarding the Cargraphic pedals, I installed them myself in about 2 hours. I removed the rubber pedals on the brake and clutch, traced the outlines, marked the locations of the holes onto the bare pedals via the paper templates, marked, drilled and that's it. Nice Saturday project.

I ordered them directly from CargraphicUSA in NJ. Very prompt and professional service. They were in stock and shipped the same day.
800 815-3751 or www.cargraphicusa.com. $199 for pedals, $149 for deal pedal.
I first saw them from a pic that Jack had emailed me. Once I saw them, it was an easy decision for me.

Gert has the best prices on Cargraphic Pedals. I think he sells them with the dead pedal for $250.00 US dollars. I bought them and then ended up selling them because I went with the Techart Pedals. www.Carnewal.com

Thanks. I ordered the Carpgraphic pedals this afternoon and will get them Friday and install them this weekend. I think all of the pedal choices were nice, I just especially liked the Turbo lettering on the Cargraphics pedals.

Ibanez: I think you got all your questions answered. While it's a fairly simple DIY project, I had my Porsche tech install the pedals. I purchased mine from By Design, but Gert certainly has the best prices.

Good luck.

Phil,
I have not had the chance to install them yet. My car has been in the garage for the past two months in NY because I have been working on a project in Florida. I am having the car shipped down this week and hopefully install them this weekend. I will post pics as soon as I get them installed....
