2nd - 73
3rd - 106
4th - 133
5th - 162
6th- 195

All at 6750 rpm except for 6th which is at 6600 rpm.

Hey Tom,

According to my Porsche shop manual the gearing is identical...for some reason I thought GT2's had a 3.51 1st gear, I guess not

Joe, if you search the web, you can find gear ratio calculators, plug in the following:

3.82
2.05
1.41
1.12
.92
.75

7000 RPM

Ring and Pinion of 3:44

Tire size of 25 assuming stock rubber, 315 30 18. In fact 25.4 is more accurate.

This will then give you your maximum speeds in each gear with the 7000 mod

I changed all the gears on my GT700 and boy did it a make a huge difference, it really takes advantage of the GT700 kit as the revs don't drop off as rapidly as they did with the stock ratio's. The car is blisteringly fast now and first gear is so fantastic, I can do 50 MPH in first.... wooo whoo.

Hope that helps

Ben

I calculated the MPH/RPM in each gear for a 25.2" tire (slightly worn 315)
1st 5.7
2nd 10.6
3rd 15.5
4th 19.46
5th 23.7
6th 29.06
6680 RPM in 4th = 130 mph

Dunno about the ring and pinion, Brian Copans would be the best guy to ask BMC &G in West Chester Ohio. 513-779-3302
