The 3m bra is an excellent product for protection against stones chips, sand and other "road hazards." I've seen a 996TT strike a ladder that was in the middle of an interstate highway at speed. It took out the splitter, brake duct and marred up the wheel, but the paint and the film were still intact with no noticeable damage. For $1500 I'd expect you could almost get the whole car covered. It cost $500 to have the front of our 996 done with the extensions to the front wheel well, the front of the hood, and the mirrors.
