Tom,

I'm different... I have never had a stock hose blow off... I added the evo hoses and have had one blow off twice and it was installed by two different people. Were trying a new set...

Hopefully with better results.

Nick, many good products out there, I personally have the EVO diverters, hoses (red), and their waste gate spring units. I actually got the FPR that gives a 1:1 increase instead of the 5 bar type, I thought again somewhat better....good luck!

Gary, I know the story, I'm sorry to here that. Guess sometimes we should leave well enough alone........but then we wouldnt be on this forum would we!!............Hope to meet up soon!!

the hoses dont seem to fit on the 2001 tt... mine didnt.... i used a nail filer to shave off the tabs....
I also had 2 blown hoses on the silicone ones... all in all i think it a good upgrade.... just got to make it fit.

I believe the answer is 600+ wheel HP is a sure recipe for bending rods.

It's the torque that stretch the rod bolts and thereby bend the rods not the horsepower.

Mechanical engineers would call it "Force" or "Work", that's what bends rods.
