Does anyone know this car?
I thought I saw a discussion earlier on here about this particular car but can't find the threat anymore. I would appreciate any comments. I contacted Michael Roock in Germany and he is checking into the car. They typically only made 580 PS, but had a few with 650. Contacted Prototech as well but haven't heard back from them.

Car looks VERY familier. I think I drove that car at Moroso the first time. Again, ... IF it is the car I think. Then I drove it again at Homestead a little over a year ago . That same driving event , the car wrecked bad. Was then repaired to all the similar parts that I see.
The reason I might not be sure , is the car that got wrecked, had PSS9's and a Tequipment roll bar in it. These pics don't show the bar. Nor are the PSS9's listed.
$hit , small world if it isn't this one.

Thanks for your inputs....
I talked to Dave at Prototech in the meantime. The story is pretty crazy and will probably make the car very hard to sell. Lots of nice pieces on it though. Doesn't sound like the car was wrecked but had a lot of engine mishaps!!!
Cheers

for sure it is....
If the car received a new head gasket after it was overboosted and fixed by a respectable Porsche garage, would you think the motor is fine? Or would they not inspect the pistons and rods?

How could you ever be certain? If somebody loses patience with their project, what's the chance they just patch it to sell? Unless you have your own in-house mechanic and a warehouse full of tt spares, seems like too big a risk. AS
