Almost went for a Pelican Ride today, missed this accident!
I met up for a group ride here in Seattle today with some folks from Pelican Parts. We met at the Triple X in Issaquah for breakfast but I decided to depart afterwards as the weather was it's usual weekend crappy edition. Check out the accident that occurred during their ride on a very slippery twisty...it sounds like no one was hurt...other than that very beautiful Porsche

damn, that sucks. Bad way to end what would have been a good day. Do you know what happened? Car got loose comming around the bend?
Also, this car is absolutly spectacular, do you have any more details about it? It's one of the original style 911's right? What's the name and color code for that paint?

Wet roads can be a real eye opener in the older 911's,
glad no one was hurt.
Still sucks for the owner, most of us have looped an older 911 at one point
or another, and it just depends where you do it as to what the outcome is.
