My mechanic said Kumhos get noisy when old.....my Pirelli's are gosh awful now and I can handle it. Tell me the Kumhos at 8-15k are ok...anyone have them that long on a 911 (rear engine....)?
TIA

I had mine for about 7500, maybe 8k miles. I never noticed them getting any noisier. For the price, I think they're a great tire. I could've spent a wole lot more money for a "premium" tire with a marginal increase in performance, but for normal and "spirited" street and highway use they're perfectly fine, and Kuhmo has agreat record on the race track too.

I run these tires and like them; they are plenty soft, thump a bit in the am
I am one of those guys who put around town; if your car is fast and has a big motor you may need the mics to avoid an incident; I would also advise a roll cage and your helmet, unless you just put around town

wow, speed yellow
Do you think I can find those DOT tires at Sears?
I hope they can do a 4 wheel alignment
I think those DOT tires will work fine for putting around the track
