Default '01&'02 values steady or going up?

I was looking at turbos about 6 months ago and ended up getting a GT3 that I love. I miss the whoosh and now I'm loking for a turbo to keep the GT3 company. Some of it is time of year but it seems like the prices on turbos have really firmed up and maybe even risen $5K or so in the past 6 months. Does is seem like the 997TT is actually stabilizing the 996tt price?

Yeah...They are going up...They have gotten way too cheap. Hell, you can buy an 01 Turbo for a few 1000 more than a new M3...That's cheap.

Agreed. I have not been in a turbo for a little while and spent some time driving one today. Still a very fresh and very fast car even without the mod list you have.

Hey Boulder GT3...What color is your GT3...Have I seen you out on the roads? Yellow?...I have a black turbo w the aerokit, and black (winter) stock wheels...Your welcome to have a test-drive if your interested...According to EVO...mine should be pumping 552hp ....At this altitude it is likely less, but the car is still crazy fast....Gets up to 150 in the blink of an eye. GT3 is such a great car...My dad owns one and I have driven them quite a bit on track...once they hit the powerband, they are very fast...almost as fast as Turbo X50 premods...amazing but true.

I've got a yellow with the GT3 seats. I've been back and forth to Longmont at Smith restorations. There is another yellow one in the area.

Thanks for the offer on the drive. I'd like to se eyour car sometime. If I can find a turbo I'll play around with it and mod it. tom

From my vantage point they seem to continue to fall in price. This especially pertains to the less optioned versions. I think that premium options, particularly the X-50 option hold their value or may go up slightly.
Picking up an '01-02 with no CF, nav, or X-50 should be very reasonable.

Good luck!!
