Default K40 Calibre Blue Tooth

Wife hates the detector in the window. Been looking at remotes and K40 seems popular.

Any thoughts on the current generation of K40?

Can get it installed (Front/rear & laser diffuser) for $ 1800 - 2000. Is that in line?

Thanks

Cal

K40 works okay except for a really nasty tendency to false alarm at any RF signal it picks up. The good side is you'll know where every Burger King, McDonald's, and cell phone tower is around you.

Falsing is almost non existant on the newer units. I install 4 or 5 a month and have no real issues to speak of. We are usually $2,100 with 2 diffusers. but that varies with the installation (led placement).
