I think it depends on what you want to do with the car. I like to take mine to the roadcourse and want to keep lag down and have good power overall so I think I am just right. Others like Craig and Alex like to do the street racing straight line deal which means 900 to over 1000 works for them.

If I could have reduced lag and 900 ponies I would. But it is very true how you get used to the power. One solution is to drive my Sti and then get in the tt, you just don't get thrown back in the seat in the Sti.

Any stage 4 guys run anew zo6 yet. I would say that should walk their *** from a roll and be real close from a dig. I played with one in a stage 2 and rand VERY close to it.
I ran against a 2006 Z06 with my Stage 1 996TT today and stayed dead even from 2nd gear around 30 up to the end of 3rd before we had to back down. He walked me from a dead start though. He put a couple of cars on me but never anymore up to triple digits until we backed off. Theres no doubt about the torque he had available from a dead stop. I didnt start off as hard as he did but even so, I know he would have gotten ahead. His 1st gear pull was wicked.
