Anyone know how quick a std X50 will accelerate from 100mph to 160mph?
I can't find it on the web and I know it's not a normal accel figure to quote.
My best friend has an M Coupe (Z) and keeps banging on about how his car will to this stretch in 11secs. I don't doubt him but would love some figures to quote back. We both know mine is quicker, but by how much?
Many thanks,
Jools

Unless his Z-coupe is an M with supercharger it will not touch your X-50.
He needs to do a 60-130 run with an AX-22.
Here are a few numbers for comparo:
2003 450 ps 996tt == 62-124 (100-200) == 9.0 seconds flat
2001 620 ps 996tt == == 7.9 seconds (Techart GT street car)
98 m coupe 321 ps = == 15.3 seconds
(the m coupe is not exactly "eyeball flattening" acceleration...)
