Default Question about EVOMS's new K24 headers

Can someone please explain what the significant differences are between the new EVOMS K24 header system and the previous generation of headers sold by EVOMS (difference in primary tube diameter?). I have purchased a used set of the "older" EVOMS headers and plan to use them with K24 turbos and GIAC flash (among other upgrades), but was wondering if the newer headers would be a better fit and worth the expense.

Thanks in advance,
Glen

LOL now you sound like some vendors

I've yet to see the K24 ones but the ones I have are not mass produced (not that any of these things really are). I can tell you that the headers sold previously were FVD headers and worked well. They were a bit more expensive from what I remember. I ran them on my car for a while and never had any issues. I'll get some in and take a look.

The major problem area with my old headers was the drivers side middle tube. Bang, scrape, bang and it seems to be the case with SCARGOs, FVDs and B&Bs also. Most hang lower on the left hand side. I measured the difference and it was about .5 inches higher on the drivers side with the EVO. However on the passender side it was ..25 (a bit more) inches lower than the FVD one used to be. I hadn't hit the passenger side yet and bear in mind my car is super-effing-compton-low. I hope I don't hit the passenger side. However, compared to stock ALL the headers I have tried hang lower. Stock ones don't go lower than the lowest point on the car at the cross member. These ones still do also.

My cargraphic euro lip is so low that unless I pull out sideways on three wheels and at 60plus degrees I scrape the hell out of it. However when doing that, if I take too much of an angle that's when I've seen customers with headers or myself scrape and knock 'em about.

Hmm I could raise the car eh? Kinda hard though since these JRZs are almost as high as they will go lol.

I thought that the restriction was actually the K-24 turbos themselves
and not the headers (even stock porsche headers).
Unless of course you are very high horsepower applications like
Sharkey, Stephen, etc.

Although this may be true, I thought aftermarket headers were still beneficial because they allow the turbos to spool up faster (better boost response).
