Default Clutch Problems

Got an '02TT with 29,000 miles. Noticed last week that the clutch pedal would slightly bind just about where the clutch engages on pedal travel. Also experienced a slight pedal vibration as the pedal reaches maximum travel at the floor. Clutch does not appear to be slipping. Now what I'm getting is a hard pedal after the engine is shut down. Seems the power assist bleeds off after just 2-3 minutes. Once the engine restarts, clutch appears to act normally with the exception of that vibration at the end of pedal travel. This disappears after a few minutes. Any ideas? If there is an easy fix to this, I'll do it myself. If not, into the dealerit goes.
Thanks.

Sounds like the check valve in the slave cylinder is leaking. There was a thread on it in May or June.

I did. Very helpful. Even my service advisor learned something.
Many thanks.
