gas bottles in trunk???

Default gas bottles in trunk???

am going on a 250 tour to cal foot hills well maybe 6500 ft . is it really foolish to store 2 , 5 gal bottles of gas in the trunk ????? 01s have a very small fuel tank...

I personally wouldn't do it....but that's just me. But, one 5 gallon bottle of gas is very big, that wouldn't fit in the front of a TT, let alone two. Perhaps you can get a one gallon in case of emergency...but I can't imagine that any of the foothills around this area would be without a gas station for more than 250miles. Where exactly are you going?

actually two 5 gal fit just fine if i remove my mini tire in the trunk,,,, also i like to run 100 oct,,,, we are going up thru grass valley to sierra city if interested the sac valley region is hosting. we could use a red 996tt,,, meeting sunset and stanford ranch rd in rocklin the bel air center cost is $5.00
will be a fast fun ride we always travel the back roads. pm me for further info steve
