car now with REVO stage 2 flash and straight pipes no cats. Runs well, spools fast, pulls hard, no CEL's.
Sound is about the same, straight pipe with or with out the cats.

Its funny I just had a CEL code P0420 on both banks after driving from Chicago to Norfolk (for reference 100 cell cats, EVO intake, DV, Stage 2 etc).About 75% of the way into the trip the CEL tripped. I had been driving easy and keeping a low profile on the turnpikes, etc. I took the car to Eurosport here at Virginia Beach, they read the codes and reset the CEL. I left happy, about 30 miles later the CEL tripped again. I called back and after finding out the code meant high emissons on both banks and knowing how gently I drove the car down I decided to do an Italian tune-up. It worked, I went back had the code read just to be sure they were the same 0420, they were, had it re-set and no issues now. Just had to run through the gears a few times.
Of course YMMV.

Yup just a few nice full throttle pulls to redline a few times. As I understand it thats how most F'cars cleared up their issues back in the 60's and 70's.
