Is the car exactly what you want/were looking for?
The CPO option is worth ~$2500.
Galves, KBB, NADA are all guides; the value of a car is completely up to the buyer (and of course it's going to depreciate the minute you drive off the lot anyways).
It would appear as though it's a bit of a buyer's market with respect to 996TT's, at least based on the large #'s produced and the 'soon to be released' 997TT
Best of luck.

I too think you can do a little better. There was a lightly optioned 6-speed '03 TT here in Houston (CPO @ Porsche dealer) with 24k miles that started at $94k 3-4 months ago, and the asking price dipped to $86k a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if they still have it.
The point being a tip should be less.

Thanks...I've been on Porsche.com, Dupont and Autotrader for the last 45 days and have yet to find a TT Tip in warranty in the $70-85k range (prefer dealer, but enthusiast is ok too if car checks out).

I think $85 would be fair for this, but only if it was specced exactly as I wanted one. If not, then why buy a 21K mile '03?
With all these cars (and aren't there a lot of "what should I pay for them threads) the answer to me is simple. Pay as little as you have to for the car you want. Only you know if you paid too much. Likely the person asking the questions has a much better idea as (hopefully) they have been watching prices like a hawk for some weeks.
Do I think I paid too much for my car? Yes. Do I care? Not at all, it's just what I wanted in condition and spec. Which kind of means I paid the right price!
