If I could have my way, I'd have the Euro rear bumper (no bumperettes)....much cleaner.
I am NOT a big fan of the DOT, EPA and the other federal agencies who keep the good cars out and botch up the cars (think early 01 Turbos with the ridiculous front bumper 'warts') that do come in.

as for bumperettes I like 'em black. Although I just got my bumper plugs and door plug from bumperplugs.com. Very happy :-)

That's a beautiful car. I had a 993 in that color and it just got better the longer I had it. It looks great at night. Enjoy.

I guess I'm confused on the definition of 'correct'.

Non C4S and TT variants have factory painted rear bumperettes.
Are they not 'correct'?

It's always been more of a curiosity as to why black bumperettes have been carried on these 2 models and not on others.

"Correct" would be no rear bumperettes, but that's a topic for another time.

maybe to distinguish it from the rest of the models? Meant. correct for US turbos, no bumperettes for ROW.

I love that color! There is a guy driving a 996TT around town here with one the same color w factory aero kit and yellow calipers (ceramics?). That dark blue is the new black. Great choice.

In reference to the stock ****'s comments, make up you own mind on mods. The comment on being a "correct" North american car suggests the 3" gap between tire and fender is the way this car was designed. It wasn't.

Howdy!

Beautiful car - I'm becoming pretty enamored with the TT in blue! The wifey's previous-previous Z3 was blue (Avus I believe) and I alwayed liked it quite a bit. I might have to bump blue up a couple of places in my color preference as I shop for my TT.

Someone mentioned yellow calipers - I bet a few yellow highlights against the blue would be stunning!

Thanks for the pics (BTW, sorry to hear about your misfortune in the other thread, even though it means a nice upgrade )
