Talking Please Help! Backfire upon acceleration!

Car is a tip 996tt. It has a backfire when accelerating from a low speed. Mech was not able to locate the cause of the backfire. I've been using high level octane gas. Mech also checked the exhaust and there is no leak. Any suggestion?

sounds like a bad spark plug. After I had my 996 turbo serviced one time under excelleration there would be a large thud and a lack of power and the computer said to go get it serviced and I did they just replaced the bad plugs and it was totally fine.

As has been suggested on several boards, under your several threads - take it in to an OPC and get it looked at...

This is not the sort of problem likely to be fixed online!
