Hi Adam,

I had Napleton Porsche do the PPI and they said the same thing... you confiming it makes me feel even better.

Sure is wierd buying a car like this sight unseen other than the pics of course.

I did the same thing 3 weeks ago. Bought the car from a dealer in Alabama and had another Porshe dealer do a PPI for me. It was kind of scary but worked out well. Good luck.

BTW, I have sold numerous cars online before without incident.

I think most of us have done this. I know half my cars I have bought sight unseen. My TT we developed the level 4 kit for before we even had the car! I had it apart the week I got it and was on the dyno by the weekend making over 600HP

Ben,
Just out of curiosity...what price did they settle for? I know they were asking 79.9k on their website. Looking for another datapoint for where the '01s are trading.

Thanks Zippy,

Yours too with some very nice mods I see.....just what I am planning to do.

Spoke with Todd @ EVO this morning about the stage 4. Have to give it a bit more time before I spring that one on the missus.... ; )

See you at a meet sometime?

Cheers..Ben

Ben: the car looks SWEET. Go for the x73 suspension as your first mod-- what a difference! Enjoy your beautiful car. GBG

Yes been also interested in market price on a car like that. Looking at one here in Ca and seems to be a lot higher here.

Way to go Ben! I hope you enjoy the car, I've owned a bunch of Porsche's over the years and the 996 TT is by far the best of the batch. Enjoy, and drive it as much as possible!
