Fabspeed Sport - Opinions Please
Not trying to post yet another string on exhaust/muffler for TT's but I wanted to get some feedback (good or bad) from owners, or previous owners, of the Fabspeed Sport (quiet) system. I've seen a few owners get it and get out of it after a short period and wanted to get some other opinions from anyone who has or had it.
Do/did you like it?
How is the "drone" and at what RPM is it most prevalent?
How's the build quality?
Anyone have to get warranty work? If so, how was the experience?
Any issues with the 100 cell cats and lifespan or engine light?
Self installed? If so, was it straight forward and easy?
Would you do it again or go with someone else?

How is the "drone" and at what RPM is it most prevalent? - I would say it is a drone (only slightly) around 2/2.5k
How's the build quality? - superbly crafted, polished like a mirror!

Any issues with the 100 cell cats and lifespan or engine light - None whatsoever!
Self installed? - Yes
If so, was it straight forward and easy - Instructions were useless (think it was the wrong ones though!), put 2 and 2 together and it was pretty easy 3 hours (max) definately need to go on car hoist to get best access!
Would you do it again or go with someone else? - Fabspeed all the way! There is a slight drone (very slight at roughly 2k) nowhere near what people make out! I have had a few 100cell Cat Full systems now and by far this is the best (noise levels), If you don't want an increase in noise don't bother with any system! but this is by far the best performance with low noise levels!!! enjoy!

I agree 100% with 996TT-STEVO, very good system, nice sound - I think he may have forgot to mention that is about 25lbs lighter than the stock unit. Looks better from the back. Would do it again. Suggest doing it on a hoist, will make life easier. Took my mechanic and I about 2 hours.
