Default In Napa this weekend:

Saw a 997 S and a new Turbo "S" outside the French Laundry. I decided not to pull over and check them out - but they looked great on the drive by. Anyone here own either one?

Yeah they ordered their cars at the same time they made reservations. Their cars were built in a foreign country before they could get reservations at the 'Laundry.....

That would hold true for me. I gave up trying to get in there. There are plenty of fun restaurants in Yountville, Rutherford, Oakville, Napa, St. Helena that we enjoy instead...

the building next door (forgot the name) is excellent; is more accessable and you don't hve to have seven courses. Same management & I highly recommend.

Keller's other restaurant is called Bouchon, but it isn't exactly next door (same street, but a couple of blocks away). If you are going that far, I would go another couple of doors further to Bistro Jeanty.

I ate at Bistro Jeanty Friday night. Of course, the tomato soup as the starter. Very decent French country. Limited wine menu which surprised me. Good service; packed out...
