Congratulations on the new car. Now comes the hard part, running it in.

I'm curious about one thing. I also got a TIP and it came with the thick wheel option. Is yours the same? I don't recall seeing the option available ever on a TIP, so it came as a surprise to me to see that my car had it. Makes me suspect that it', somehow, part of the turbo S package.

Congrats - I assume its Atlas...
I did not know Porsche came OEM with Bridgestones....Thought only Pirellis, or Contis on TT (Michelin on GT2/3)

Also, please go get clear side markers ASAP

Yes, I do also have the thick racing wheel, I love it so much it gives me more of a sense of control over my former '02 Turbo.

Congrats! beautiful car and enjoy...

I had to pay $765 for the thicker wheel but love it.

Came with the S-02A's

Upto 3000 miles now on OD, used up about 3 qts of oil...and having a blast...rain, snow or shine!

I already love the car, testndoc, how is the MB 600 engine, I considered buying an S600 over the 500 but I thought there was no need for that type of power, but now that I have driven my new turbo S, I have had second thoughts. Input would be appriciated.

PORSCHE25,

The Benz V12 engine is incredible. My girlfriend has an SL600 and it is extremely quick, with a ton of torque. The fit and finish of the car is great too. But, the SL600 doesnt come close to the turboS in terms of pure driving fun, agility, handling, etc., IMO.
Is the V12 really worth it? Im not sure, considering the cost. Ive driven an S500, and for me, it is plenty fast. I plan to unload my CL500, and get a BMW M5. The M5 will have 507 ponies (wow!!!). Enjoy your S!
