Default Need buying advice '04 TT Cab

I need help here. Which of the follwoing woold you buy-- both are the same price (basically the same car):

1. New '04 TT Cab with 2900 demo miles. Warranty is 4 years (good till 2/09). Seal gray/black.

2. Pre-owned '04 TT Cab with 2600 mi. Supposedly had a Porsche enthusiast as an original owner who traded for a 2005 S TT. CPO takes warranty to 11/09. blk/blk

I can't identify any significant differences in the options, but my eye is not well trained in TT options. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks Bobby-- I think I agree with you.

By thw way, I couldn't help but notice this '01 TT because of the low mileage. The warranty is up in May, so that's a big negative, but what do you think?

Call me a sceptic but I'm wary of 4 yr old cars with only 2000 miles. Heck, I've put on 2500 miles in a month! Stick with the ones that have factory warranty...

I would be wary of a '01 with 2000 miles as well. I'd go with the Seal Grey one, you might drive yourself crazy trying to keep a black one clean!

I would question the 2,900 "demo miles". I suspect many different drivers all with test driving thoughts. Who knows, and if only going to keep short time, it should not matter much.

OK, I'll bite.
What is wrong with a low mileage 01TT? How low is low? Is proper winter storage/non driving a negative?
Interesting, since most people are concerned with high mileage examples.

All the Demo cars I've ever driven were pushed pretty hard right from new - little if any thought given to the proper break-in, etc. If it is true that the 1st 1,000 miles are as critical as they say, then a demo car seems to have more risk down the road of shorter engine life.

Thanks guys. I ended up with seal grey. Still love black, but my last 911 was black, so I wanted a change.
