gemballa comp-8.5 frt/12 rear/18''

need help in determining whether 235/18'' by 315/18'' will work for the above rims on 996tt?your advise is appreciated.thanks

Your best bet is to check the tire manufacturer's specs (should be available online) to ensure that whatever tire you're thinking about using is rated for that size wheel. I even found that the Michelin Pilot Sports that were OEM on my car are not rated by Michelin for the OEM wheel size that they came on from the factory. Go figure. Regarding the wheels themselves, make sure that your offsets aren't too aggressive. fwiw.....
