Yea, just noticed this post and saw that thing about turbos. Absolute pressure is absolute pressure.

Maybe this is like the Vista card in MacGyver, the line of credit isnt a factor of how many complex devices MacGyver makes in a day, as long as he makes enough by the end of the month to meet quota.

I'm not sure I'm following you. If you mean by "absolute pressure is absolute pressure" that all boost levels are created equal, that isn't correct (whether you use visa or amex). Pressure is, roughly, a function of air density times temperature. With an engine, air density is good (more oxygen molecules) and temperature is bad. There is a direct correlation between the two.

You could theoretically raise the temperature enough to get 1.0bar of additional boost without any increase in oxygen. That would be bad.
