since moving to miami, i'm trying to educate myself a bit more on the F-cars.
a couple ignorant questions:
what is the proper name of that color?
what is the proper pronounciation of 'stradale'?
is the red/white/green striping part of the challenge pkg or is it an option?
i'm really intrigued by the Ferraris - just trying to learn more!
thanks,

2. Stradale = Stra-doll-ay
3. "Three coloured racing stripe" is an option.

Having owned a 360 and 996TT I have to say that the Ferrari is a much better car all around...the mid engine design is far better than rear engine...The down side is that you cant take it everywhere and ofcourse the price and availablity. The TT is much more usable car.

I've never been in one, but the magazine line of reasoning sounds more on the money to me...

The CS is a stripper, but therein lies it's beauty -- leather or racing suede interior are no cost options -- the radio is an after thought and totally unnecessary (and useless in terms of sound quality) given the magnificent sounds the engine makes -- the carbon fibre is real and everywhere it should be -- and what a fun car to drive. While it's reliable, it's not a daily driver. It just attracts too much attention, even if it's not yellow or red. .

only profilers like you think a CS can't be driven every day. it's a CAR. if you took the big hilarious wing off the back, no one would notice you in LA.
it is indeed a stripper in the best sense, similar to the gt3 RS concept.
and for someone above who thinks it's a track car only -- no way baby, it's the best street car and daily driver I've ever owned... more performance oriented [or track oriented as you say] than a gt2 or 3.
it's lighter 'feel" is fantastic in the bumpy twisty i drive every day. intially i noticed the lack of torque relative to a gt2, but you're cornering so much faster and effortlessly it just doesnt matter.
very fun at the track.
at the recent Malibu Stradale Conference, all the attendees who are or were GT2 owners, agreed that CS rox

Bill, the interior color you have on your Stradale (Bordeaux?) is absolutely gorgeous. It compliments the exterior very well. It is the first I have seen in that color. Congratulations!

This is the first Ferrari I've owned. I never understood why people didn't drive them much. Now I know. It's fun just admiring the car's look and materials.
Even so, the car's very fast response is unlike anything else I've owned. Along with the sound, it makes it feel like you're part of the machine. Maybe it's the same thing the Harley guys have known all along. There's some type of unusual pleasure in that.
