Default Latest TT wheel question

I saw a new TT at the dealership and it had a different style wheel on it. I assume that they are hollow spoke as well. Does anyone know if there is a weight difference between the new style TT wheels and the old?

On another note, I sure wish that Porsche would have spec'd out the front wheel width to 9 inches.

Those are called Sport Techno wheels. They are hollow spoke and their weight is comparable to the stock Turbo II wheels.

Other than appearance, is there any point to the Sport Techno wheels?

No. Not to me, there isn't. I like the original Turbo II wheels, and these Sport Techno's have to be installed with a 17 mm spacer on the rear axle. That ought to add a pound or two on each side.
