I purchased a set of Hollow-Spoke Turbo Twist wheels from a Forum user a couple of years ago. I didn't check things closely enough at the time; I was expecting a set of matched fronts and rears. When I looked at wheel part numbers, the front wheels matched but the rears didn't. Here are the P/Ns:
11JX18-ET 45
996.363.142.03
FR=5800N
11JX18-ET 45
996.362.142.11
FR=6200N
Is there a way to find out what year/model these p/n's were used for?
Does a mis-matched set of rear wheels affect a car's value/future re-sale?
Didn't seem to make much difference in the outcome of this wheel auction. I wouldn't worry about it. If the future buyer is that picky he should buy a new model.
Those rear wheels are exactly the same. They are not mismatched. Just one of them is significantly newer. Probably replaced because of a curb hit or something.
