It is all an act. He is an entertainer. He does not need anyone to lend him money. He makes millions from his videos. He only proclaims financial hardship because it makes him a sympathetic character and draws/bonds his audience to him and thus makes him even more money.

The 996TT, McLaren SLR and many Mercedes models all do use variations of a Mercedes manufactured 722.6 5g-tronic transmission.

I wouldn’t complain about his life. Seems like every car guys dream life.

We both tried to start a car dealerships out of our driveways which I relate to. He also likes to buy rough cars and restore them back to like new (like I use to)

I did hear about a terrible divorce he went through with a cheating wife which I don’t wish upon anyone.

He is a Mercedes guy more than a Porsche guy. Some of his first videos were LS swapping a 996 C2, something I would never do.

His complaints about being broke is tiresome. We get it he likes cars and bought a few too man. We get it he bought property you can't afford.
My question is who the F is lending him more?
Yes, this absolutely.

So do you folks get upset when you watch an action film with car chases and all sorts of stuff gets wrecked like say James Bond trashing Aston Martins?

Equating YouTuber to Micheal Bay....
In the story line such cars, when real, are sacrificed for a noble cause, saving the protagonist blah blah blah. Destructive YouTubers only do it to appeal to their viewers who are jealous/envious of nice things other people have. I've met several such folks. The kind of people who destroy stuff you lend to them. They give it back and don't even say sorry.

I think you are giving Michael Bay too much credit there.

It is exactly the same thing, exactly. Bay and Hoovie are equals

It's entertainment who's creators are paid by the number of viewers they attract. Zero difference.

Hoovie doesn't wreck anything he doesn't own. The whole plot of him wrecking the engine of the 996TT and having to buy it back is a fabricated story line. It was all preplanned. As is everything in his videos. What make him popular is that folks believe it is real, believe he is a fool, it ins't and he isn't. It is all "scripted".

It's a TV show.

Naw. Those cars are more often than not new and not rare/special (at the time of film production) so its no biggie.

Think about all the 911s Porsche built just to crash test...same w/ every manufacturer!
