Default 19” HRE 542 wheels for OEM turbo twists

Looking to swap my 3 piece 19” HRE wheels with tires for a set of 18” OEM turbo twist wheels. They are black with a polished lip. Include HRE center caps.

Tires have lots of tread but there is some dry rot starting on them. Wheels are in fantastic condition with one lip having a tiny bit of curb damage. (I can send photos)

Even trade if wheels are near immaculate with good tires. Any other situation we can discuss.

I love the wheels but my commute is full of pot holes and I do not want to damage these. Plus 18”s will ride smoother. I’m getting old. They came on my car when I bought it. It was a California car before my ownership.

Located in Baltimore and not shipping them.

Apologizes. I am now an official member. Should this post be moved to marketplace?

No worries.

You don't have to move it, you can keep this thread open just also place an ad in the marketplace.

542s are a great "OEM plus" wheel option that compliment the original design language of these cars well.

25 series rear, no wonder it rides rough.

Neat design though.

You can go with the 245 front + 305 rear and it will have about the same amount of sidewall as the 18 inch setups. The 25 series works fine if you have smooth roads where you live.

Oh nice. I get compliments on the wheels all the time so maybe I will keep them. Different tire size and maybe some less aggressive tires will help the ride situation. I certainly live in an area with garbage roads everywhere.

My 245 front rubs a little on the inner fender liner at full lock but is working well. I do still run a 25 series rear for now but I will probably get the 305 next.

What tires are you running? I have the 597Rs but need a full set.

Yes, I have taken this car 4 times since I bought it in January. I started a new job that requires me to work on Saturday so currently I can't make it. I do plan to ask if I can come in late a few Saturdays this season and take the car, once it gets repaired from the deer I just had an encounter with.

Sure. Do you have hollow spoke turbo twists? A little damage is ok, as I can always get them refinished. Do they have tires on them?
