Given plugs and coils are my next better late than never items I am reminded of the old BBI coils that a guy on the other forum ran seemingly trouble free for years. I think BBI may have done better with their upgraded coils than that proprietary clutch slave thing they made. The BBi plasma coils or something? I don't know if they are even made/offered any longer. I bet not. They were like 3X the Bosch/Beru price point if memory serves?

So with my cars near 9th! service interval for plugs and coils rapidly approaching. I'll do 'em soon enough!
Yes bbi coils were $900, would love a set

In my experience nothing beats the stock coils. Aftermarket ones are more expensive and are usually junk.
