On the PCA website they have posted the tickler for the upcoming Turbo-S.

I'm often struck by what is not said, and on one of the pages it's talking about how the interior has "special" leather available for the seats, dash, and about only two other areas.

Now this is about a 10th of what you could specify for the '04.

Also, "special leather" was a distinct option (as opposed to "natural leather").

Since they also specify the aluminum guages as standard, I am also wondering if the interior color or the red/yellow/blue gauges are no longer available.

I'm thinking the parallel production of the 997/996tt has caused the outgoing car's option list to shrink to the 80/20 rule-80% of the sales resulted from only 20% of the offerings- and 80%, or, a good number of the options have been chopped.

I've had my order in before the "S" was announced and I'm wondering if I will have to change my order to accomodate a changed order deck for the S version.

I've tried to get the preliminary order deck on Renntech.org but have been unsuccessful.

Has anybody seen it?

Well, on the 993 TT S or for example C4 millenium etc... There aren't too many options to specify since these are 'special edition' cars and Porsche designs them in a 'special' way...

 

i had this problem

my dealer and i were working on ordering the perfect 05 TT-S Cab, and we were working from the 04 TT (non S) Cab's order guide

since alot of the options are redundant, such as the aluminum faces, and x50/pccb, the issue arose as to anything we may miss...

so i told them to wait on giving porsche the final go ahead until the 05 TT-S guides were out

got a call from the dealer today, they are now out, coupe and cab guides for 05 TT-s

im going there tommorow to have a long sitdown session and make it perfectttttt!!!

should be fun!
