Default Left bi-xenon shutter not moving

Hi all, just before I start disassembling the headlight, has anybody ever had this problem? The halogen high beam filler lamp is working fine in both headlights but only the right side shutter moves when I flash or set the headlights in high beam. This means that voltage is present in A5 and A12 pins of the main plug, which feeds in parallel the shutter solenoid and the high beam halogen lamp. If anybody had this, was it due to a stuck/rubbing shutter or was the solenoid dead? If it was dead, any way to source a new solenoid other than buying another headlight?

Are you sure sensor arm on the front left suspension is not broken?

if the shutter is bad, veryyy rare but these aren't young cars anymore, you can always upgrade the projector units with the retrofitlabs ones

The wiring inside the headlight is known for the insulation breaking down, check for shorts going to the solenoid.

That’s not related since the halogen lamp lights up normally

Actually dis that already a few years back. Can’t remember if the shutter is integral with the new projector or if it’s a part of the original unit. If it’s a part of the new unit then I may need a new one.
