GT2/3 strut mounts NLA?
I have been gathering parts for my coil over install and considering going with the GT2 mounts, but most online parts catalogs are showing the parts as discontinued. Are these parts still available through PMNA or is aftermarket the only choice moving forward?

Porsche doesn't remove 'anything' from its parts catalogs for Classic models, might be a temporary shortage but they are/will be available, PMNA also will have

these are the GT2/3 mounts, totally different from the Turbo ones
997 GT2/3 are available too, slightly different but quite similar to 996

You want the "symmetrical" 997GT3/Cup mounts. That's what I run. These are available. If you buy the 997GT3 version from the dealer, they will be set up in the standard camber configuration. If you buy the 997Cup versions from Porsche Motorsport, they will be in high camber config. Also buy the dust boots and retainer ring pictured below. I assume you are aware that you can't use these with the AWD carriers, only the GT3/Cup ones.

I run -4.5 degrees but that's with the top in high camber config and pushed all the way inboard in the upper slots along with about 13mm of shims in the LCAs. In the standard camber configuration these are no different than any regular upper mount and the range is probably 0 to -2.0 or so. The high camber config gives you roughly an additional degree of camber.

I do have a set of GT3 spindles and the GT3 lower arms as well already. If I don't plan to run more than -3.0 degrees is it still beneficial to place the upper mounts in the high camber configuration?
I will be using these with a set of Moton club sports, is there a better rear configuration like a spacer or top hat that will allow me to use the stock rubber rear mounts?

depends on caster, fender clearance...better to widen the track width than pulling the top for camber
not sure what you mean about the rear?

if the Moton's are a complete kit/setup from/for a 996 just bolt the rears in directly to stock mounts with the upper hat in the kit

While on the subject of these shocks, I had them rebuilt by PSI and they replaced the quick disconnects. The new QD came with a warning that the reservoirs must be discharged prior to disconnecting them as the seals can be damaged. I don't have nitrogen but I do have argon on hand, is it ok to use in shocks?

not sure on the argon, is inert and should work but have heard heat transfer issues with it...best to ask PSI
