Default Clutch Life Expectancy

I know a lot has to do with how the car is driven, but on average (given average 996TT driving circumstances) how long can one expect the OEM clutch to last? TIA

I think alot of them fail in the 25K range. Ive heard of some failing sooner and some lasting much longer.

My Turbo is approaching 162'000 km (100'000 miles), and it's still running on the original clutch.

Clutch life is COMPLETELY based on driver skill and care. The only reason that its any sort of an issue with turbos is that they have so much power, its very easy for a bad driver to kill it very quickly. A skilled and careful driver can make a clutch in almost any car last for well over 100,000 miles... more, obviously if primarily highway-driven. Every time you slip the clutch during engagement, picture $100 bills floating out of your wallet. That works for me.

I have 35K miles on mine and still fine. That includes a lot of 5K RPM clutch drops at the drag strip. It is still holding strong which really surprises me, but I am not going to complain.
