Great car...but $250k? Really?
250k for that car is insane. Even 100k is bonkers.

Yeah, looking at this now...you may be right. Those high end outliers are S, X50, and RUFs. Beneath that, for the most part, are low mileage unique "regular" turbos.

Sorry for the lengthy delay. Car does NOT have X50 package. It apparently has an Evoms V-Flow air induction kit that was installed very early in the cars life. Don’t believe there was any associated tuning done but not certain on that. The Vinanalytics is correct but missing option 939, draped leather rear seats i believe.

So we have a 30k mile 2004 tt cab 6 speed, black over grey, with an aftermarket air intake & minimal service records

My dad just sold his 2004 996TT Cab on BAT in November. It had 28k miles and was a nice color combo. Atlas Gray/ Black with factory optioned GT3 wheels. It sold for $67,750 and was in a condition expected for a 28K mile car. Hope this helps.

There we go. Private party, I'd say 55-65k is probably the market today. Comparing to BaT numbers, IMHO, is a very challenging task as, many times, there is fairly wild variability associated with auctions. For example; 6spd "regular" (non X50's or S) TT's coupes are supposed to bring more than cabs but there is all this variability in the numbers many times brought on by the day, the options, and rarity in color/interiors. But it is an indicator.

Reviving this thread:

Going to get to see and test drive this 996tt in Chicago next week, then on for a thorough PPI if it passes my initial inspection. Will be my first time behind the wheel of a 911tt of any kind. Super excited!!
