All I can say is avoid BBA Remanufacturing. Multiple shipments, a month and a half later, finally something shows up, wrong part. Mechanic says they've been extremely difficult to work with. So anyone know where else to pick one up without spending 5k?

Interesting, others have reported good experiences with them, perhaps something else is going on.

Not surprising, they have 2.4 star reviews online.

Before bending over for the dealer, I may try to go this route. Franken fix of splitting and replacing just the hydraulic block portion of the unit. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ulic-unit.html

Just wanted to update this thread. I had leaking hydraulic block on my factory ABS unit. I purchased a used 996.355.755.52 unit and was able to swap the hydraulic block to my factory unit without an issue. Took several ABS module bleed procedures to get all the air out of the system, but currently leak free. The hydraulic block on the factory unit was BOSCH part #265.225.101, it was swapped with 265.225.097. The used unit was still 700 dollars, but sure beats 5k dollars for a unit from the dealer.
