Is there any remedy for streaks in the nav screen caused by water?
I'm told that like other similar screens in the BMW 7-series, etc., the Porsche nav screen cannot be cleaned with water (only a soft, dry cloth) or it'll get permanent streaks that cannot be removed. I don't know how it happened, but it appears to have some streaking.
Any ideas aside from replacement?

I'd try a chamois which is wrung out being careful not to let anything drip down.
Alternate - use microfiber cloth supplied with glasses moistened very lightly with lens cleaning solution again being careful etc.
Last resort - use a Q-Tip moistened with rubbing alcohol followed by drying with microfiber lens polishing cloth.
Good luck.

Thanks for the response. Much appreciated.
It's not like Porsche to make something not maintainable. Then again, they're not in the business of making nav/info display systems.
